In today's session, we used rigged 3D models as subjects to study anatomy and tone of a character in a 3D space. Because I'm still very much next to the concept of 3D animation in Maya, I decided instead I'd use a modified biped from 3ds MAX which I used last year for animation as a reference. this was one of a few posts I put the biped in to capture the angles I'd use in the drawings:
I decided on and stuck with the idea of drawing these pictures as if they were vignettes for a storyboard which was another field I wish I spent more time on.

I feel I should've taken more from the 3D model's anatomy rather than implementing my own, seeing as the skeletal chest and arms would've looked better, especially toned, than what I eventually went with.
Seeing as this was a now also an exercise in storyboarding, I decided to annotate the vignette with camera movements and directions, character motions and how they would-be scene would transpire if it were real.
